Who We Are

Empathis is a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17518303), at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We are responsible for the personal details you send us through this website.

What We Collect

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, your company if you give it, and your message. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why We Use It

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, to talk with you about any work that follows, and to keep the form free of spam (see below). Our legal reason is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. We never sell your details or add you to a mailing list.

Who Else Handles It

Cloudflare hosts this website. Resend delivers your message to us by email, and Microsoft stores our email. For these jobs, all three act on our instructions.

To stop spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks signals from your browser and device, and your IP address, to tell people from bots. We do this because of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. Cloudflare also uses this information for its own purposes, such as improving Turnstile, and it is responsible for that use. See the Turnstile privacy addendum.

Cloudflare, Resend and Microsoft may process your details outside the UK. When they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK–US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards.

How Long We Keep It

If your enquiry doesn’t lead to work, we delete it within 12 months. If it does, we keep our correspondence for six years after the work ends, so there is a record if questions about the work come up later.

Your Rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, have them deleted, limit how we use them, or object to how we use them. To ask, use the contact form or write to us at the address above.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
